"HESA Picnic" Sparks Euphoria and Camaraderie

About 150 students enjoyed karaoke, movies, and snacks during the HESA picnic—a fun-filled evening that strengthened community bonds and offered a welcome break from academic stress.

Imagine a room full of students, laughing and singing together. That’s exactly what happened at the HESA picnic, where around 150 students gathered for a fun filled evening. Held within the HESA Week Celebration, the event which was led by Master Edwin Scott Nkrumah and his team, was a masterclass in creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Karaoke sessions had everyone belting out their favorite tunes, while munching on popcorns and sipping drinks added to the festive vibe.

The movie session was a highlight, featuring two films that left the students entertained and engaged. But beyond the activities, it was the sense of community, connections that truly shone through and the life long memories created.

The picnic was more than just a break from studies- it was a celebration of the bonds that tie the HESA Community together. As one student noted, "It was amazing to see everyone laughing and having fun together, despite the stress that came with school"
