Breaking News: Clifford Amoah Resigns as GPSA Editor-in-Chief Ahead of HESA Presidential Race

Clifford Amoah resigns as GPSA Editor-in-Chief to focus on HESA presidential bid; deputy Yaa Otchere Tiwaah tipped as potential successor.

Clifford Amoah Takyi, the Editor-in-Chief of the Ghana Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (GPSA) and a declared presidential hopeful for the Health Science Students Association (HESA), has officially stepped down from his position.

The resignation, which aligns with Article 63 of the Association’s constitution, marks a significant step in Amoah’s campaign journey as he shifts his full attention to the HESA presidential race. Sources close to the matter reveal that while the official resignation letter remains inaccessible to the public, Amoah is believed to have informally endorsed his deputy, Miss Yaa Otchere Tiwaah, as a suitable candidate to assume the role in his absence.

However, per the GPSA constitution, the final decision rests with the Executive Council, which now bears the responsibility of appointing a new Editor-in-Chief to ensure continuity in leadership and operations.
